WWE’s NXT brand and TNA Wrestling have entered a Forbidden Door arrangement, trading talent between the two organizations. This collaboration saw TNA host a television taping at the historic ECW Arena, now known as the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, on Saturday night, June 29, 2024. The event featured surprise appearances from multiple WWE NXT Superstars.

During the TNA iMPACT on AXS TV taping, the No Quarter Catch Crew trio—Myles Borne, Charlie Dempsey, and Tavion Heights—appeared in their ring gear, exciting fans who witnessed the crossover live. This event marked Dempsey’s second venture to another wrestling company after his recent two-match deal with AJPW.

Jordynne Grace initially broke the Forbidden Door between NXT and TNA by challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title at Battleground at the UFC Apex. Although Grace didn’t win, she delivered an impressive performance. Tatum Paxley later appeared in TNA to challenge Grace for her TNA Knockouts Title, which Paxley lost. Additionally, Joe Hendry shocked fans by participating in the NXT #1 contender battle royal, later promising Shawn Michaels that he would show up anywhere he desired.

With NXT Heatwave approaching, the future of this collaboration remains uncertain, leaving fans eagerly anticipating more surprise cameos. Ringside News will continue to provide updates on this story and other developments in the pro wrestling world.
