Kayla Braxton, a standout in WWE for 8 years, was set to depart from the company after the June 28th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. After this week’s SmackDown, she shared a farewell message with her fans.
In her announcement, Braxton made it clear she was very grateful for her run in WWE, reflecting on her journey from a ring announcer at NXT to becoming an accomplished backstage interviewer and host across various WWE programs.
Braxton performed her duties well during the June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, which marked her final appearance in WWE. Following the conclusion of the show, Braxton took to Twitter and sent one final message to the WWE universe, making it clear she would miss them all.
”I love my WWE family. Thank you guys so much. I’m overwhelmed. I will miss you all but we will see eachother again. ❤️”
Kayla Braxton also allegedly turned down contract extension with WWE. Now that Braxton is no longer part of WWE, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for her, as the world is truly her oyster.
