Bryan Danielson undeniably ranks among the top professional wrestlers globally and he has competed at the very best level for many years, but he will be retiring as an active competitor this year. In light of that, Danielson’s creative direction ahead of his retirement has been revealed.
Bryan Danielson has previously mentioned that 2024 will mark his last year as a full-time wrestler and that is why he has been squaring off against the top talent all over the world this year.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bryan Danielson is expected to have a major turnaround as he closes in on retirement from in-ring competition.
”In regards to Bryan Danielson’s AEW creative direction, Danielson is expected to have a major turnaround as he closes in on retirement with the idea of regrouping from the losses earlier in the year.”
Bryan Danielson has also revealed where he plans to have his final match. In the meantime, he is set to face Shingo Takagi at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30th, so we’ll have to see how his storyline will continue after that.
