WWE has its own Forbidden Door with TNA Wrestling, as NXT Superstars have moved to TNA for special appearances in recent memory, and vice versa. This week, fans were surprised at the TNA television taping when Charlie Dempsey showed up.

It was reported that WWE’s collaboration with TNA Wrestling would continue beyond Jordynne Grace’s appearances. TNA’s Joe Hendry also appeared on NXT, and Tatum Paxley showed up at TNA’s Against All Odds event.

On Friday night, TNA Wrestling taped episodes of Impact in Philadelphia, PA. WWE NXT star Charlie Dempsey, son of William Regal, made a surprise appearance, attacking Leon Slater, Trey Miguel, and the referee. The crowd chanted “NXT” as Dempsey stood in the ring.

This isn’t Dempsey’s first crossover as part of the WWE roster. He made his All Japan Pro Wrestling debut on December 31, 2023, teaming up with Yuma Anzai to face LEONA and Tatsumi Fujinami in a winning effort. At AJPW’s New Year Giant Series, Dempsey challenged Katsuhiko Nakajima for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship but lost.
