Bryan Danielson is undoubtedly one of the premier professional wrestlers worldwide, having competed at the highest echelons for many years. However, he is set to retire from active competition this year. Leading up to AEW Forbidden Door, Danielson confirmed he is managing neck issues.

Bryan Danielson has previously stated that 2024 will be his final year as a full-time wrestler. That’s why he has been facing off against top talent from around the world throughout this year.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Bryan Danielson revealed that his neck is not in the best condition at the moment. confirmed that despite this, he is healthy and enthusiastic about wrestling on Sunday at Forbidden Door.

“My neck isn’t doing so great right now,” said Danielson, who confirmed he is healthy and excited to wrestle on Sunday. “This is my chance to wrestle Shingo again, and Forbidden Door is one of my favorite pay-per-views. That’s because of the uniqueness of it. Five years ago, multiple promotions didn’t work together to put on a super show. Now CMLL and Stardom are involved. This didn’t exist before. I love this show.”

Fans are undoubtedly excited about his match against Shingo Takagi at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30th, so we’ll have to see who will end up winning the highly anticipated match.
