AEW fans have been missing veteran commentator Jim Ross on screen recently due to his ongoing health issues. After things seemed to be looking good for a while, unfortunately, he is now facing another setback.

Jim Ross revealed that he had returned to the emergency room due to difficulty breathing. The WWE Hall of Famer shared this update on Tuesday, stating that he had been admitted to the ER and would likely stay overnight, but he reassured fans that he would be okay.

During a recent media call ahead of the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan was asked about Jim Ross’ status for the event. While Khan did not give a definitive answer, he did mention that he had been in touch with JR and would love to have him back in the mix when he is healthy enough to do so.

As it is known, Jim Ross has faced multiple health issues in the last year. Therefore, we can only hope that Jim Ross will recover quickly and be able to leave the ER soon. Despite these health challenges, Ross appears to maintain his fighting spirit, and our thoughts are with him for a swift recovery.
