EJ Nduka was blindsided by his WWE release back in 2021, but everything in WWE changed after Triple H took over as head of Creative. He would make his way to AEW last year but hasn’t done much at all. However, it appears he finally made his in-ring return after a long hiatus.

EJ Nduka had his first AEW match against Konosuke Takeshita on the January 28, 2023 episode of AEW Dark. His impressive performance earned him contract offer immediately after the bout.

However, Nduka saw no further action with AEW until a Collision taping in September, where he participated in another dark match. His most recent appearance was on the October 7 edition of AEW Collision, where he secured a win over Jon Cruz in yet another dark match.

According to PWInsider, EJ Nduka finally made his in-ring return before the June 26th edition of AEW Dynamite, where he faced off against Marcus Mathers in a singles match.

AEW has many talented competitors who haven’t been used much at all for the past year and fans feel EJ Nduka should be utilized more, so we’ll have to see if this is the beginning of AEW finally using him from now on.
