WWE is expanding its roster in search of the next big breakout Superstar. Their NIL program has yielded strong candidates from college sports, with more names now added to the recruitment pipeline.
WWE confirmed the latest class of NIL graduates, revealing the 2024 Next In Line Graduating Class. The seven stars named by WWE Recruit are Bayley Humphrey, Darci Khan, Jeremy Cody, Abby Jacobs, Carlos Aviles, Jaiden Fields, and Sirena Linton.
These stars appeared in the crowd on the June 11 edition of NXT, referred to as “WWE’s 2024 NIL Class.” Three of these athletes were among fourteen NIL recruits in December 2023. We’ll see how they seize the opportunity to grab the proverbial brass ring in WWE.
Since 2021, WWE has signed college athletes to NIL “Next In Line” deals, scouting young talents with potential for pro-wrestling stardom.
Gable Steveson, WWE’s first NIL signee, was recently released from his deal. While the reasons are unclear, Steveson quickly signed a contract to play football for the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
The WWE NIL program, announced in December 2021, provides a clear pathway from college athletics to WWE through partnerships with college athletes from diverse backgrounds. WWE’s NIL program has proven effective, giving standout college athletes a fast track to WWE.
