WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus engaged in an unexpected and extended program against Becky Lynch earlier last year, which surprised fans. However, she has been absent from WWE for a few months now. With that said, Stratus recently addressed the topic of possibly retiring from wrestling.
Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ feud took over WWE television for several months and it ended at WWE Payback, where they faced off against each other in a steel cage match. Stratus would lose the match, which ended up being the last match of her run with the company so far.
While speaking to Going Ringside, Trish Stratus was asked about potentially retiring from in-ring competition. Stratus made it clear she has no intention of retiring whatsoever and made it clear she is staying ready, alongside Lita.
“Retirement? What is retirement? I’m not familiar with this word. I don’t know anything about this word. We just stay ready. That’s a general statement that we [Trish & Lita] like to live by, just in case.”
Trish Stratus also previously expressed her desire to win an 8th Women’s Title, so it remains to be seen whether the WWE Hall of Famer will make her triumphant return to WWE television for one last run this year.
