Nyla Rose, a trailblazer in AEW’s women’s division and a pioneering transgender wrestler in professional wrestling, continues to face undeserved criticism and disrespect from certain quarters despite her numerous accomplishments.

Recently, AEW uploaded video featuring Nyla Rose on their latest Close Up show on Twitter, acknowledging her as a women’s wrestler. However, one fan posted an old photo of Rose before her transition, attempting to undermine her identity with a transphobic comment: “Hmmm woman’s wrestler you say.”

Nyla Rose noticed the offensive remark and responded with grace and confidence, questioning whether the fan’s post was intended as some kind of “gotcha” moment. She asserted that she looked stunning both then and now, challenging others to post about her if they dared.

Rose’s response was both humorous and sharp:

“🤣🤣 is this supposed to be some weird ‘gotcha’? FIRST OFF… I was fine as F*** then… and I STILL am! Post you… I dare ya! SECONDLY… I ASSURE YOU, searching for, saving this, and going out of your way to post it online is GAY ASF… it’s gayer than ANYTHING I’ve ever done and I eagerly and excitedly touch other people’s dongs (with consent, of course) because I’m not a weirdo loser like YOOOOOOUUUUUU 💋.”

Despite facing hurtful comments and criticism due to her transgender status, Rose remains unapologetically true to herself, staying focused on her professional wrestling career and continuing to inspire others with her strength and confidence.
