MJF has picked up business right where he left off after leaving AEW at the end of last year. After making his triumphant return at Double or Nothing, MJF competed in his first match back last week on AEW Dynamite.

Following his victory over RUSH, he was challenged to a match at Forbidden Door by Hechicero which was later made official. The Salt of the Earth opened the June 26 edition of AEW Dynamite. As he was about to address the audience, he was interrupted by the hometown hero, Daniel Garcia.

The two engaged in a back-and-forth, with Garcia admitting that losing to MJF in their previous encounter for the AEW World Title was an embarrassment. Still, it only made him a better performer and led to big moments in his career, and now, he aspires to be the workhorse of AEW.

MJF contemplated the reasons he was out ringside. The first was to hype his upcoming match and appearances, and the second was to call out Daniel Garcia before he interrupted him. The verbal altercation continued until MJF pitched a match between himself and Daniel Garcia for AEW’s biggest show, All In.

Before Danny could give his answer, he was interrupted by Will Ospreay, who proposed a match between himself and Garcia for all the gold, should Ospreay win his match against Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door this weekend, somewhat upstaging MJF in the process, who looked upset.
