The Owen Hart Foundation Cup began to an excellent start last week on AEW Dynamite on both the Men’s and Women’s side of the tournament, with the action rolling through the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite for their upcoming pay-per-view, Forbidden Door.

The June 26 edition of AEW Dynamite featured another match from the Men’s side. The bout pitted The Bang Bang Gang’s “Switchblade” Jay White, who had his entire gang ejected during the match, going up against The Lucha Brothers’ Rey Fenix.

The two dynamic performers laid it all inside the squared circle, going back and forth as a huge opportunity hung in the balance. Both White and Fenix displayed an instant classic and looked to pick up the important win.

In the closing moments of the bout, Jay White planted Fenix to the mat to win the bout and advance further in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup, which could possibly earn him a huge championship match at AEW All In.
