WWE has seen several returns recently, including backstage personalities, not just Superstars. Jonathan Coachman seems open to returning.

WWE is experiencing a successful period under Triple H’s creative direction. Coachman might want to be part of this, as he hasn’t dismissed the idea.

Jonathan Coachman was guest on The Angle Podcast, where he was asked about a possible WWE return. Although nothing is certain, Coachman seemed open to coming back to the company that gave him his big break.

“I would be open to going back now, but I’d never go back and sit in the commentary chair and be a straightforward announcer, that’s not who I am, that’s not the best version of myself. I know exactly what I’d want to do. I do not want to go back and sit at a three person table with Michael Cole & Corey Graves, I have no desire to do that. I would do a 2 person commentary team, but in reality, what am I best at? There’s a lot of talent that no matter how much they practice, how much they try, they will never be good on the microphone and to me mic work is as important as in-ring work. Where I could help the most? Is being a sidekick to somebody, being a manager to somebody, putting together a group of people and leading them”
