AEW fans have seen FTR achieve a lot in the ring. They held many titles during a significant time for the tag team. They also made some good friends, especially Bret “Hitman” Hart.
Dax Harwood celebrated his 40th birthday on June 30 and received a big surprise before his big day. WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart paid him a visit, which was captured on camera for all the world to see.
A video on Dax’s Twitter page shows the surprise. As he ate his meal, he looked up to see Bret Hart had arrived. “What are you doing here?” is all Dax could ask through his shock. In the caption, Harwood credited his wife and tag team partner Cash Wheeler for the surprise, expressing disbelief at how his life turned out.
Maria & Cash got me a gift for my 40th birthday. Never in a million years did I think I’d get to this point in my career, but here we are. What a life. Love you all.
Harwood is currently out with an injury, with no set return date. As he recovers, it’s clear that pro wrestling has been good to him, with even his childhood hero now his friend. This was a really cool video, and the look on Harwood’s face was worth it to pull off such an epic birthday surprise.
