The Hurt Business, featuring Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin, made a significant impact during their WWE tenure. The group not only elevated each member’s career but also garnered a dedicated fan following. Despite their success, the faction disbanded in 2021, leaving fans disappointed. Recently, MVP claimed that Triple H refused to bring back the faction, and now Booker T has shared his thoughts on the matter.

Roman Reigns also felt that the faction was broken up too early. While there was brief attempt at reunion, it was ultimately short-lived, leaving fans with no expectation of future return for the faction. Bobby Lashley previously said the breakup ‘hurt his heart.’

Last week, MVP claimed that Triple H refused to bring back The Hurt Business, and this led to ton of discourse online. While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T commented on MVP’s recent remarks, acknowledging that MVP has made his feelings clear and that those who need to be aware of his sentiments are likely informed.

Booker T talked about his long-standing admiration for The Hurt Business, giving props to MVP for the crucial role he played in legitimizing the group, and comparing his influence to that of Sherri Martel in the past. He hoped that the situation could be resolved privately and believed it should have been done behind closed doors.

MVP’s comments, he pretty much made his feelings known. And I’m sure people that need to know are aware about his feelings but I was always a huge fan of The Hurt Business. I’ve said that here many times how instrumental of a role that MVP played as far as, you know, really really almost being that legitimizer for the Hurt Business such as Sherri Martel was for us back in the day. Hopefully they can work that situation out. I just think stuff like that need to be handled behind closed doors.”

MVP also accused WWE of taking The Hurt Business’ gimmick and giving it to The Bloodline. Regardless, it is not known why Triple H refused to bring back the faction as they would have dominated the landscape had they come back.
