WWE NXT Results (6/25/2024):

The show opens up with NXT General Manager Ava outside of the Performance Center talking with a group of referees, security and officials about how a lot of people from the main roster, TNA and other places have been showing up in NXT and thus causing a lot of problems in the Performance Center, NXT and even the dreaded parking lot. Ava then tells them to tighten things up to prevent any incident tonight and to maintain order.

Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show and Edris Enofé and Malik Blade as well as New Catch Republic (“The Big Strong Boy” Tyler Bate and “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne) make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night.

Tag Team Turmoil (Winner Challenges For The WWE NXT Tag Team Championships At NXT Heatwave): The O.C.’s Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Malik Blade and Edris Enofé vs. Chase U (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson) vs. New Catch Republic (“The Big Strong Boy” Tyler Bate and “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne) vs. Legado Del Fantasma’s Angel and Berto

The match starts off with Tyler Bate and Edris Enofé. Bate hits a hurricanrana on Enofé, then tags in Pete Dunne. Blade then tags in and hits a double dropkick on Bate with Enofé. Enofé and Blade then double team Dunne and Enofé hits a jumping knee on Dunne. Dunne then responds with an enzuigiri and hits a German suplex-rebound clothesline combination on Blade. Bate then flies to land on Blade and Dunne sets up to hit The Bitter End. Enofé then avoids it and hits a DDT, then climbs to the top and looks to hit an elbow drop. Dunne then intercepts him with a right hand, then tags in Bate. Bate and Dunne then deliver the Birming-Hammer for the win.

Legado Del Fantasma is next in the match and Angel and Berto waste no time in going after New Catch Republic. New Catch Republic then lock in submission holds on Legado Del Fantasma before Angel sends Bate colliding with the ring apron and delivers some right hands on him. Bate then delivers some right hands on Angel’s midsection before Berto tags in and hits a Sliced Bread from the apron on Bate as Angel holds Bate in place. Angel then tags in and Bate hits a hurricanrana on Berto. Angel then blasts Dunne on the apron to prevent Bate from tagging in, then hits a backbreaker on Bate and goes for a pin. Dunne then breaks the fall, but Berto nails him and tags in. Apollo Crews then makes his way down to the ring to distract Legado Del Fantasma, but security pulls him to the back. This then opens the door for Bate to deliver the Tyler Driver 97 for the win.

The O.C. is next in the match and they waste no time in taking down New Catch Republic. Bate gets Anderson up on his shoulders and hits an Airplane Spin. Bate then delivers a right hand on Gallows, then tags in Dunne. Dunne and Bate then look to send Gallows crashing into the mat, but Anderson prevents them from doing so. Gallows then tags in and The O.C. looks to hit Magic Killer on Dunne. Dunne then counters into a roll-up to score a win. Chase U are next in the match as OTM confronts The O.C. on the ramp. Chase delivers some right hands on Dunne, then follows it up with a Russian Leg Sweep. Chase then hits the Chase U Stomps on Dunne, but Dunne snaps his fingers and sends him onto the apron. Dunne then hits The Ten Beats of the Bodhran on Chase as Ridge Holland watches on from ringside along with Thea Hail and Riley Osborne. Hudson then tags in and sends Bate crashing into Dunne. Bate then climbs to the middle rope, but Hudson pulls him down and hits him with the Chase U Right Hands. Hudson then gets Bate up, but Bate escapes and looks to hit an Airplane Spin on him. Hudson then escapes and sends Bate crashing into the mat with a spinning slam. Bate then responds with a suplex, then tags in Dunne as Hudson tags in Chase. Dunne then climbs to the top, but Chase intercepts him with an enzuigiri. Bate then tags in and Dunne hits a Sunset Flip on him. Bate then goes for a pin, but Hudson breaks the fall. Dunne then snaps Hudson’s fingers as Bate sends Chase crashing to the outside. Bate then looks to fly, but Holland pushes Chase out of the way to take the fall. Chase then hits a Frog Splash off the top and pins Bate for the win.

We then head to the women’s locker room, where WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez confronts Karmen Petrovic after she catches her and a couple of other girls watching a video of what happened between her and Lola Vice last week. A verbal confrontation between Perez and Petrovic then ensues.

Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then send their condolences to the Anoa’i Family on behalf of WWE following the passing of Sika Anoa’i earlier today.

Dante Chen was then shown being offered to be Nathan Frazer’s corner man in his upcoming NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match. Frazer says that he hasn’t talked to Axiom in days. Axiom then shows up and says he has Frazer’s back in the NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match. Chen then says Axiom is Frazer’s tag partner and he won’t step in the way. Frazer and Axiom then made up to end the segment.

“All Ego” Ethan Page then makes his way down to the ring to address the NXT Universe.

Ethan Page starts off by saying with Heatwave right around the corner, the card is starting to come together. Page then says that Je’Von Evans will be challenging Trick Williams for the NXT Championship on July 7 after he won the 25-Man Battle Royal last week, but he was never eliminated from the match and he beat Evans later that night. Page then demands NXT General Manager Ava come down to the ring and let him replace Evans at Heatwave.

Ava’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Ava says Page really believes that he deserves the world and can do no wrong and Page says when you’re someone like him, you constantly bet on yourself and prove yourself. Ava then says Page has a point, but before she can continue, Shawn Spears’ music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Spears says him and Page have traveled the same road and come from the same area of Canada, then recalls beating Evans before Page did. Page then says he knows he was busy brawling with Oro Mensah during the Battle Royal and reminds Spears that Evans eliminated him last from the match. Spears then brags about beating Trick Williams. Trick Williams’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Williams says he doesn’t care who his opponent is at Heatwave because the Toronto crowd will be chanting “Whoop That Trick”. Spears and Page then attack Williams, but Je’Von Evans makes his way down to the ring to make the save. Evans and Williams then send Page and Spears out of the ring. As security holds Page back, Ava picks up the NXT Championship and hands it over to Williams as Evans eyes it.

We then head to the back, where New Catch Republic confronts Ridge Holland about joining Chase U despite saying he wanted to go off to do his own thing. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger then walk in and ask Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate if they can face them in a match and the New Catch Republic agrees.

Stevie Turner was then shown talking to Ava’s assistant Robert Stone. Stone says that Ava saw what she did in the past and how good an asset she is. Stevie then says she could be a better assistant because she volunteered to challenge Jordynne Grace, gave Ava a heads up on what Roxanne Perez was up to and keeps Ava up to date with what is happening in the locker room. Stone then says that makes Stevie a narc. Stevie didn’t know what “Narc” meant. Stone then says that means “snitch”. Stone then says Stevie could never beat him on her best day.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “The Kardiak Kid” Wes Lee vs. Gallus’ Joe Coffey

The match starts off with Lee running Joe over. Wolfgang then jumps up on the apron, opening the door for Joe to take advantage and nail Lee. Joe then sends Lee into the corner, then follows it up with a backbreaker and an elbow off the ropes. Joe then hits a knee on Lee’s midsection, then follows it up with a forearm. Lee then hits a superkick on Joe, then delivers a series of right hands on him and a double stomp on his spine. Lee then knocks Mark off the apron with a jumping knee, allowing Joe to hit a slam and pin him. Lee then kicks out. Joe then hits a Glasgow Kiss on Lee, then follows it up with a running European uppercut that sends Lee crashing into the corner. Joe then places Lee on the top rope. Lee then escapes and hits Joe with the Kardiak Kick for the win.

After the match, WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi appears at ringside to officially grant Wes Lee a WWE NXT North American Championship Match at Heatwave on the condition that he never challenges for the title again should he lose as long as Femi is the champion.

Sarah Schreiber then interviews The D’Angelo Family’s NXT Heritage Cup Champion “The Don Of NXT” Tony D Angelo about his upcoming NXT Heritage Cup Championship defense. Tony jokes that he is looking forward to the afterparty. Tony D then says he knows that Nathan Frazer has more Heritage Cup experience, but Stacks and Luca gave him a good gameplan to keep the title with The Don. Tony D and the Family then walks off.

Ridge Holland is then shown being handed an envelope with pictures showing the conclusion of last week’s match that he won. Holland then quickly takes the envelope away and says it doesn’t matter because Duke already won the match. Andre Chase, Thea Hail and Riley Osborne then shows up to celebrate Chase U’s win in the Tag Team Turmoil.

WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match: The D’Angelo Family’s “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Super Sonic Duo’s Nathan Frazer

The match starts off with Frazer putting D’Angelo in a side headlock and both men going back and forth before Frazer rolls up D’Angelo to score a fall. D’Angelo then hits a back body drop on Frazer as round two begins and D’Angelo hits his signature right hands on Frazer’s midsection. D’Angelo then hits Frazer with a spinebuster to score a fall. Round three begins and D’Angelo delivers some shoulders on Frazer’s midsection in the corner. Frazer then looks to roll up D’Angelo, but D’Angelo blocks him and nails him with a right hand. Frazer then delivers several right hands of his own, but D’Angelo sends Frazer colliding with the ring steps and round three has ended. Round four begins and Frazer clotheslines D’Angelo out of the ring. Frazer then nails D’Angelo with a couple of tope suicidas and a Sling Blade inside the ring, then follows it up with a superkick and goes for a pin. D’Angelo then kicks out and Frazer looks to fly off the top rope. D’Angelo then sees Frazer coming and hits a spinebuster, then goes for a pin. Frazer then kicks out and looks to fly off the ropes, but D’Angelo intercepts him and hangs him off the top turnbuckle by his knees. D’Angelo then looks to hit a shoulder on Frazer’s midsection, but Frazer avoids it and D’Angelo is sent crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Frazer then hits a dropkick off the top rope on D’Angelo.

D’Angelo then hits a right hand on Frazer as round five begins and he sends Frazer into the corner twice. D’Angelo then charges at Frazer, but Frazer hits him with a superkick and goes for a pin. D’Angelo then kicks out and Frazer looks to fly, but D’Angelo hits him with a spinebuster mid-air and goes for a pin. Frazer then kicks out and rolls up D’Angelo, but D’Angelo kicks out. Frazer then hits an enzuigiri on D’Angelo that sends him crashing out of the ring and dropkicks him into the ring steps before hitting a dropkick off the top when D’Angelo gets back in the ring. Frazer then goes for a pin, but D’Angelo kicks out. Frazer then climbs up the ropes, then hits a Phoenix Splash. Frazer then pins D’Angelo, but the referee is unable to complete his count before the round has ended. Round six then begins and Frazer rolls up D’Angelo. D’Angelo then kicks out and Frazer pins him once again. D’Angelo then kicks out and Frazer hits him with a twisting neckbreaker. Frazer then climbs to the top and looks to hit a Phoenix Splash, but D’Angelo avoids it and hits a belly-to-belly suplex off the ropes. D’Angele then hits Frazer with a spinebuster and gets the win.

We then see WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams have a conversation with “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans in the locker room. Evans says he has Trick’s back in his match against Shawn Spears. Trick then says he appreciates it, but Evans should focus on his Heatwave match. Trick then says he also gets a little bit cautious when people offer to have his back. Evans then says it’s fine. Williams and Evans then does a handshake to end the segment.

WWE NXT Women’s Champion “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Karmen Petrovic makes her way down to the ring next and Lola Vice makes her way out to join the announce desk.

Singles Match: WWE NXT Women’s Champion “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez vs. Karmen Petrovic

The match starts off with Petrovic looking to hit a kick on Perez, but Perez avoids it and hits a right hand on Petrovic. Perez then delivers some stomps on Petrovic in the corner, but Petrovic hits Perez with a kick. Perez then trips Petrovic on the ropes, then delivers some right and left hands on her and sends her crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first. Perez then hits a Russian Leg Sweep on Petrovic, then stomps on the back of her neck and locks in a submission hold on her. Petrovic then transitions into a pin, but Perez kick out. Petrovic then hits a discus lariat on Perez, then follows it up with a right hand and a drop toe hold. Petrovic then looks to hits a roundhouse kick on Perez, but Perez intercepts it and hits a kick on her midsection. Perez then follows it up with Pop Rox for the win.

After the match, Lola Vice gets inside the ring and stares down Perez as she holds up her WWE NXT Women’s Championship. Perez then looks to hit Vice with a Spinning Back Fist, but Vice intercepts it and hits Perez with the 305. Vice then heads to the back with Perez’s title in hand.

We then head to the back, where “Super Nova 11” Noam Dar was on face-time speaking to the rest of Meta-Four. Dar says he appreciates everything Oro Mensah, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend have been doing while he was out. Dar then says he was out due to “All Ego” Ethan Page tearing up his tendon. Oro then talks about how Meta-Four makes him smile. Oro then says when he was in Nigeria, he never thought he would be in a place like this. Oro then says when he was 6 his dad almost died in a car accident and literally ran through a wall of fire. Oro then says he grew up in Switzerland due to his dad having to move to Switzerland for surgery for his burns. Oro then says that separated him from his mom too. Oro then says with his dad in surgery and mom gone him and his brother were in foster care. Oro then says he was in a place where he looked and sounded different from everybody else. Oro then says he never felt like he fit in with anybody all his life until he met Meta-Four. Oro then says he won’t rest until he beats down Page for taking down his main man. Dar then raises a cheers for Oro spilling his heart.

We then see The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) lay out OTM’s Bronco Nima and Lucien Price backstage with chairs in hand as Michin and Jaida Parker brawl with each other.

We then see a referee tell NXT General Manager Ava that it looks like OTM was injured from the attack from the Good Brothers. Ava then tells Carlee Bright that she can have a match against Wendy Choo after Choo attacked her recently.

No Quarter Catch Crew then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Tavion Heights is already waiting inside.

Singles Match: Tavion Heights vs. No Quarter Catch Crew’s Damon Kemp

The match starts off with Kemp locking in a Sleeper on Heights, but Heights counters into a shoulder breaker. Kemp then slides out of the ring to regroup with the rest of NQCC, but Heights follows him out there. Kemp then nails Heights and hits a couple of elbow drops on him, then sends his head repeatedly bouncing off the canvas. Kemp then hits a German suplex on Heights and sends him into the corner, then follows it up with an Angle Slam. Kemp then looks to hit a second one, but Heights avoids it and hits Kemp with a belly-to-belly suplex. Heights then hits Kemp with a belly-to-belly throw for the win.

We then head to the back, where Kelly Kincaid is talking with WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan about the upcoming #1 Contenders Women’s North American Championship Match. OTM’s Jaida Parker then enters after Jordan leaves and challenges The O.C.’s Michin to a Street Fight next week.

We then see Izzi Dame tell Brinley Reece that Edris Enofé and Malik Blade doesn’t want her around and that sharing her happy-go-lucky attitude with them will get them nowhere.

We then see WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer and Axiom have a conversation, where Frazer tells Axiom he has a WWE Speed match he needs to prepare for.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship #1 Contender’s Match.

WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Sol Ruca vs. Arianna Grace

The match starts off with both women taking turns in locking one another in submission holds before Ruca hits a facebuster on Grace and tripping her. Ruca then surfs on top of Grace, but Grace trips her on the apron and sends her back in the ring. Grace then sends Ruca crashing into the top turnbuckle, then delivers some stomps on her and sends her into the other turnbuckle before hitting her with a suplex. Ruca then rolls Grace up, but Grace kicks out and hits an elbow drop on Ruca off the middle rope. Grace then hits Ruca with a knee, then puts her in a seated Abdominal Stretch. Ruca then makes her way back up to her feet, but Grace sends her into the mat. Ruca then hits Grace with a couple of shoulder tackles and a springboard back elbow, but Grace rolls up Ruca. Ruca then kicks out and hits a couple of kicks on Grace’s midsection. Ruca then follows it up with the Sol Snatcher for the win.

After the match, WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan joins Ruca on the ramp and celebrates her becoming the new #1 Contender as Ruca eyes the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Vic Joseph then announces Kelani Jordan vs. Sol Ruca for the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship at NXT Heatwave.

WWE NXT Women’s Champion “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez then ranted in front of NXT General Manager Ava for having to pick up her title in her office. Ava then books Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice for the WWE NXT Women’s Title at Heatwave.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Singles Match and “All Ego” Ethan Page joins Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T on commentary.

Singles Match: WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams vs. Shawn Spears

The match starts off with Williams tossing Spears over the top. Williams then hits a flurry of strikes. Spears then hits Williams with a Thez press. Spears and Williams then trade strikes. Williams then leapfrogs over Spears. Spears and Williams then both hit pump kicks at the same time. While both men are down, Oro Mensah jumps the barricade and attacks Page. Spears then puts Williams in a crossface and Williams fights out of the hold. After a series of reversals, Spears hits a superkick on Williams followed by a face breaker. Williams then kicks out and hits a book end on Spears. Brooks Jensen then jumps the barricade and tries to get in the ring. Security holds Jensen back and Jensen grabs the hood on the commentary desk and swings it, accidentally hitting Williams with it. Spears then hits the C4 on Williams for the win.

After the match, Spears sits in the ring and laughs. We then head to the back, where Stevie Turner and Robert Stone are arguing in Ava’s office over several people having claims to the NXT Championship. NXT General Manager Ava then announces that at NXT Heatwave it will be a Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Championship as the show comes to a close.
