The June 25th edition of WWE NXT will deal with the fallout from last week’s show and also build towards future storylines. Naturally, fans are incredibly excited for their weekly dose of NXT action.
This week’s episode of NXT will be held at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, FL, and will be airing live at 8 pm Eastern time slot on the USA Network and there’s a ton of action that fans can look forward to.
Last week on NXT, backstage tensions flared over who would challenge for the NXT Women’s North American Championship next. Arianna Grace pushed for her opportunity, while Kelani Jordan advocated for Sol Ruca. The dispute escalated into a match between Sol Ruca and Arianna Grace, with the winner set to face Kelani Jordan for the title.
NXT revealed a Tag Team Turmoil match scheduled for this week. The victors would earn a shot at Nathan Frazer and Axiom’s NXT Tag Team Championship at WWE NXT Heatwave 2024. The participating teams, confirmed via WWE’s social media, include Edris Enofe & Malik Blade, Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson), Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, and New Catch Republic.
Also on the card, Tony D’Angelo will defend his NXT Heritage Cup in a British Round Rules match against Nathan Frazer. Elsewhere, Charlie Dempsey was impressed by Tavion Heights’ skills and extended an invitation to join the No Quarter Catch Crew. This week, Heights faces Damon Kemp in a singles match, where victory means joining the NQCC.
Following a recent attack by Ethan Page and Shawn Spears, Trick Williams seeks retribution against Spears in a scheduled singles match. Finally, Wes Lee goes one on one with Joe Coffey in singles competition.
