Following the chaotic debut of The Wyatt Sicks last week, a lot of destruction lay in their wake and this especially included Chad Gable who was essentially killed off. However, he was cleared for in-ring action this week on RAW and Gable miraculously recovered without any sort of scratch.

During the June 24 edition of RAW, Chad Gable faced off against Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed in a Money In The Bank qualifier match. Against all odds, Gable managed to pick up the win thanks to some distraction from The Judgment Day.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Dr. Chris Featherstone and Vince Russo were asked about WWE not following through with Chad Gable being killed off. The fan also stated that by the same logic, CM Punk should be fine after Drew McIntyre’s attack on SmackDown last week.

”Also WWE not following through Chad Gable dead is dumb. Knew Uncle Howdy stuff won’t work. By that logic, Punk should be ok from sd.”

Vince Russo criticized the company for what he perceived as setting the group up for failure. He pointed out that Gable had miraculously recovered from the assault he suffered just last week, which in his view undermined the credibility of the faction led by Uncle Howdy. He also pointed out how Drew McIntyre put CM Punk out with his own attack last week.

Six people couldn’t hurt Gable but McIntyre put Punk out. What do you call when you set somebody up for failure? What’s the word I’m looking for? Sabotage. I’m telling you guys, I’m telling you man.”

Bo Dallas made his return on WWE television this week on RAW and it certainly built up his character. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether WWE will do justice to the faction in the end.
