WWE NXT is moving fast-paced ahead on the road to its next premium event, NXT Heatwave, set to take place on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

On tonight’s June 25 edition of WWE NXT, Wes Lee was scheduled to compete in a one-on-one match against Gallus’ Joe Coffey. Not to mention, Coffey had his other Gallus cohorts to support him ringside.

Despite the outside interference, The Kardiak Kid triumphed over Joe Coffey in spectacular fashion. However, his celebrations were cut short by the arrival of the NXT North American Champion, Oba Femi.

After agreeing to a future title match against Wes Lee last week, Oba Femi stated that he had cleared his final test and would receive his first and final one-on-one title opportunity at his championship at NXT Heatwave.
