The world of professional wrestling often sees some individuals facing the ire of fans. LuFisto has been receiving criticism from AEW fans and it appears she has lingering resentment towards AEW due to her experiences with the company.
If you need a reminder, LuFisto shared several tweets expressing her concerns about the alleged mistreatment of the AEW women’s division. She also stated that she had received information from talent about the backstage dynamics, describing it as a version of Mean Girls led by Britt Baker, with Tony Khan contributing to the environment
LuFisto was also buried by MJF for her remarks regarding the AEW women’s locker room. Fans didn’t forget the controversy as a fan tagged LuFisto on Twitter, stating that AEW could never get a shoutout from her.
LuFisto noted that she had given several shootouts to AEW in the past but that all changed after she detailed her negative experience with the company, leading her to get bombarded by several AEW talent and receiving death threats over the incident, as she called out AEW for the same and made it clear she still harbors ill feelings towards AEW.
”They did at first, several times. Then I shared my “not very good” experience with them, got bombarded by a dozen of their talent on X, including their then piece of s*** champion and got death threats ever since. There are still many people I love there but overall… F*** em!”
LuFisto also previously claimed that pro wrestling companies have stopped booking her due to her controversial AEW remarks. Nonetheles, it has become quite evident that she will not mend fences with AEW anytime soon and fans have accepted that fact.
