Kevin Owens has made a significant mark in WWE, facing off against some of the industry’s top stars during his impressive career. That’s exactly why some fans wonder if his son will follow in his footsteps and in that regard, it appears that Owens’ son is also interested in pro wrestling now.
Before game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers, Kevin Owens made a guest appearance on NHL Now and talked about a lot of topics
During the conversation, Kevin Owens shared that his son Owen, who is six-foot-eight at just 16 years old, had recently stepped into a wrestling ring for the first time and the Prizefighter made it clear he was happy to see his son at least showing an interest in the business.
”He’s 16, he’s back there (behind the camera). He’s six-foot-eight. He’s hard to miss (Kevin said about his son).”
“He got in the ring last week for the first time so yeah, that might be an avenue. It was pretty awesome to see, and with WWE obviously, I’m able to kind of bring him to the best possible place to start training so, it’s great to see him kind of have the interest, at least give it a shot and see what happens… Yeah, it’s a real thrill.”
We will have to wait and see whether Kevin Owens’ son will end up pursuing a professional wrestling career in the future, as he already has the physical stature for it now.
