Rhea Ripley WWE Return Plans Are In Place

Rhea Ripley was sidelined with an AC Joint injury after a backstage attack by Liv Morgan following WrestleMania. There was hope that The Nightmare could return for SummerSlam, and it appears that WWE has a plan in place for that comeback when the time comes.

Ripley was forced to vacate the World Championship due to her shoulder injury in April. Despite her absence, she has been frequently mentioned on television by Liv Morgan and Judgment Day, building anticipation for her return. Morgan, who now holds the title, continues to target Dominik Mysterio, aiming to take everything Ripley once had.

It was previously reported that Ripley wasn’t scheduled for WWE SummerSlam. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that WWE sources said they have plans in place for Ripley to rejoin the program whenever she’s ready, even in a non-wrestling role.

It remains to be seen if there are active creative plans for Ripley or if the company has reached out to her. There was hope that she could appear on screen in some capacity ahead of SummerSlam if her recovery went well.
