Carmelo Hayes concluded his tenure in NXT after a defeat to Trick Williams and was subsequently drafted to SmackDown on the opening night of the 2024 WWE Draft. He secured a significant victory by qualifying for the Money In The Bank ladder match this week. Recently, he addressed his absence from the SmackDown entrance, expressing his thoughts on the matter.

During the June 21st edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Randy Orton, Tama Tonga, and Carmelo Hayes delivered an intense match to determine who would qualify for the Money In The Bank ladder. During the match, Carmelo Hayes entered the ring during a commercial break and did not receive a televised entrance, which prompted criticism online.

After a hard-fought battle, Carmelo Hayes managed to roll up Randy Orton, securing the pinfall and earning a spot in the coveted ladder match in Toronto, Canada. After his victory, Hayes took to Twitter to respond to the complaints about not getting an entrance on the show, making it clear it’s about how it ended rather than the beginning.

”They worried bout the entrance I’m focused on the exit. 💰 #Smackdown #MITB”
