Status of WWE Tag Team Title Match Remains Uncertain

Grayson Waller is rapidly gaining momentum as one of WWE’s most dynamic superstars, and his tag team partnership with Austin Theory is proving highly successful for both. However, it seems that a title match featuring them is still uncertain.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory were honored with the new WWE Tag Team Championships following their WrestleMania 40 triumph. Since then, the two have been booked well as the champions.

The two have been feuding with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for the past several weeks but they are not close to a title match and this made fans wonder if it will ever happen.

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, it was reported that as of this week, WWE has no clear date set for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs Austin Theory and Grayson Waller for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

”As of this week, there was no firm date set for the DIY vs. A-Town Down Under match.”

We have also reported that Austin Theory had to miss out on Friday Night SmackDown this week due to dental surgery. We’ll have to see what will become of the tag team title picture in the end.
