Baron Corbin Set to Compete in Jiu-Jitsu Tournament This Year

Baron Corbin, who has been with WWE for a decade now, has consistently made the most of any role given to him. Before his time in WWE, Corbin participated in various sports and occasionally ventured into MMA. Recently, there have been indications that he will be participating in a jiu-jitsu competition later this year.

Baron Corbin is a former Golden Gloves Boxer and had a football career before joining WWE. After his football career ended, Corbin had to decide what to do next and decided pro wrestling was his calling.

The SmackDown star is also very proficient in the world of MMA, being a man of large stature. He is also very proficient in the art of jiu-jitsu and has competed in numerous tournaments as well.

Baron Corbin recently took to Twitter to announce his participation in the Tampa International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Competition 2024, scheduled for November 23-24. He expressed his enthusiasm by making it clear he is out to win the whole thing.

”Let’s go! I think I’m gonna fight in this one. I need more gold.”

We have also reported why Baron Corbin has not been on WWE television for a while, as he is simply on vacation. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if Corbin will end up winning this tournament as well.
