Drew McIntyre Reveals How He Landed Role in ‘The Killer’s Game’

Drew McIntyre is one of WWE’s top Superstars right now but he has some acting experience as well and that will be on full display in the upcoming movie ‘The Killer’s Game’ and McIntyre has now revealed how he secured the role.

Earlier this month, a trailer dropped for “The Killer’s Game,” featuring Batista in a prominent role. Joining him in the movie is Drew McIntyre, who portrays an assassin alongside Batista’s character. The plot revolves around Batista’s character being pursued by fellow assassins, setting the stage for a clash between the two wrestlers when the film releases in September.

During an interview with Gerry Rushe from Irish Wrestling and Entertainment, McIntyre reflected on how he landed the role in the movie. He recounted that Batista personally called him and offered him the opportunity to be part of the project.

According to McIntyre, Batista had discussions with the director about characters that needed to physically match up against him, be Scottish, and sometimes unintelligent when he talks with a bit of a comedic side. Batista wasted no time in naming The Scottish Warrior.

“Dave called me, asked me if I wanted to be part of it. He had a conversation with the director about a couple of characters, who are hitmen, they needed someone who looked like they could physically take on Dave, that is Scottish and sometimes unintelligent when he talks with a bit of a comedic side and Dave says ‘I know that guy he actually exists, he’s called Drew’.”

The hype surrounding ‘The Killer’s Game’ is palpable as audiences eagerly await its release on September 13th. Regardless, we’ll have to see how McIntyre will fare in his role once the movie finally releases.
