Darby Allin has been plagued by a series of unfortunate events this year, starting with a foot injury that was followed by a bus accident and while he remains absent from AEW television due to injury, we now have an update on his in-ring return status.
Darby Allin participated in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing, representing Team AEW. In a particularly chaotic and dramatic moment, Allin set Jack Perry on fire after Perry dragged Tony Khan into the fray. The Young Bucks then hung Allin upside down, repeatedly striking his face with shoes embedded with thumbtacks, causing significant pain and injury.
The match concluded with Jack Perry pinning Bryan Danielson for the victory, leaving fans deeply concerned about Allin’s well-being. Following this intense encounter, it was reported that Darby Allin underwent an MRI and will be out of action indefinitely due to his injuries.
According to Fightful Select, Darby Allin has been granted some time off to recover fully from his injuries, as he was not at 100% during Double or Nothing. Currently, there is no specific timetable for his return to the ring, but it is expected that he will be back in action relatively soon.
A dog also attempted to bite Darby Allin’s nose off recently. Given Darby Allin’s history of injuries, it’s understandable that fans are concerned about his condition and his future return to AEW television. Regardless, we’ll have to see when he will return to AEW television.
