Cody Rhodes has reached the pinnacle of the global juggernaut, WWE, ever since he dethroned Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 and claimed the Undisputed Championship after a long two-year road.
The American Nightmare has been proving himself to be a fighting champion, most recently making another successful title defense against AJ Styles in an ‘I Quit’ match at WWE Clash at the Castle.
However, the match’s ending planted seeds for a future feud between Cody Rhodes and a member of Roman Reigns’ clan who has taken control of his stable, The Bloodline, the interim Head of the Table, Solo Sikoa.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship is potentially being slated for The Biggest Party of the Summer, WWE SummerSlam 2024.
“As of now, Cody Rhodes v Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship is being earmarked for SummerSlam 2024.”
Solo Sikoa has had a history of getting into Cody’s business since his feud with Roman Reigns. With Sikoa at the helm of things in Reigns’ absence, it will be interesting to see this showdown take place at the biggest event of the summer for WWE.
