After almost 15 years in the business, John Cena remains a beloved figure among professional wrestling fans. He consistently brings joy whenever he appears on the WWE stage and captivating the audience like only he can.

Following his appearance at WrestleMania 40, the 16-time WWE Champion shared details about his packed schedule for the year, including his expected return to WWE for one last run.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, John Cena teased the end of his WWE career, admitting that the glorious chapter of his life is coming to its close. However, Cena mentioned that he would always keep his fitness regime on point, and it would continue even after his WWE run was done for good.

“I know my WWE journey is coming to an end, but fitness was a part of my life long before the WWE journey started. Fitness will be a part of my life, hopefully as long as my heart’s beating. So the WWE has been a great chapter in my life — it’s year 23 for me — and the sun’s setting on that chapter in the book, but fitness will never not be a part of my life.”
