Over the past month, TNA stars have made several appearances on NXT programming. This includes TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship, and Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry participating in the battle royal on a recent episode of NXT.
Recently, Joe Hendry opened up about the growing partnership between NXT and TNA, emphasizing the positive impact it has had on both promotions. In an interview on Busted Open Radio, Hendry shared that he’s quite happy with how the TNA talent has been received by NXT and that the collaboration between the two companies has been mutually beneficial.
“I can speak on behalf of everyone at TNA that we were treated exceptionally well and this is proof that this working relationship between NXT and TNA can be absolutely beneficial for both sides, Including Jordynne as well.”
Hendry also mentioned the positive response from fans, pointing out that his debut appearance on NXT has led to WWE’s most liked video on Twitter. This success underscores the appeal and entertainment value that TNA talent brings to NXT audiences.
We’ve all brought it and demonstrated value and it’s been an amazing thing for all parties involved. Long may it continue. Everyone is winning. The fans are winning. For me to have WWE’s most liked video on Twitter is insane, but I think I can top it,”
The collaboration between the promotions also saw NXT send Tatum Paxley to TNA’s Against All Odds event as a challenger for the TNA Knockouts Championship. This exchange of talent is a clear indication that their partnership is thriving, and both promotions are looking to keep this momentum going. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more!
