Joe Hendry Found Out About 6/18 WWE NXT Debut at Last Minute

Several stars in TNA have recently gained prominence in the industry, including musical sensation Joe Hendry. This week, Hendry made an impactful appearance on NXT, and it seems he had no idea about his appearance until the last minute.

During the June 18 episode of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry made surprising entrance by announcing his participation in the 25-man battle royal, which elicited cheers from the fans. However, Hendry’s moment was short-lived as he was almost immediately eliminated by fellow TNA star Frankie Kazarian, which genuinely irritated fans as they felt Hendry deserved better.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Joe Hendry revealed that he didn’t know he was making his WWE NXT debut this week until the day before the opportunity arose.

”I had 2 flights booked, one if it was happening and one if it wasn’t happening, but I didn’t know for sure until the day before. I literally went straight from doing Chris Van Vliet’s podcast to the airport and straight to Orlando.”

We have also reported WWE’s plans for Joe Hendry going forward, as it’s apparent he will be making more appearances on WWE television. It remains to be seen when Hendry will appear on WWE television next, as fans can’t wait to see him again.
