During the June 18 episode of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry made surprising entrance by announcing his participation in the 25-man battle royal, which elicited cheers from the fans. However, Hendry’s moment was short-lived as he was almost immediately eliminated by fellow TNA star Frankie Kazarian, making it clear their feud was far from over.

According to Fightful Select, Joe Hendry is anticipated to make additional appearances for NXT in the future, as indicated by sources within NXT and officials who were reportedly pleased with the reaction Hendry garnered. Sources connected to TNA, as mentioned by Sean Ross Sapp, expressed satisfaction that Hendry’s storyline with Kazarian was continued on NXT, although some had hoped for a more substantial appearance.

Frankie Kazarian also blamed Joe Hendry for his loss in the battle royal as well. It remains to be seen when Hendry will appear on WWE television next, as he definitely made an impact on NXT this week.
