Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette are among the power couples of the wrestling world. They duo met back in the days working for the global juggernaut, WWE and started dating around 2013. After a four-year relationship, the couple tied the knot in April 2017.
After Moxley left WWE in 2019 and joined AEW, it wasn’t long before Renee Paquette followed suit and joined Tony Khan’s company as a backstage interviewer, with the duo being involved in some segments and spotted together outside the ring as well.
Recently, Renee took to her Instagram stories to reveal that her husband, Jon Moxley accidentally threw his phone in a bonfire and believed that he would not get a new phone, hilariously hinting to the fact that people might not be able to communicate with him.
“Jon “accidentally” threw his phone in a bonfire last night. And odds are he will never get another phone. Send carrier pigeons. We may never hear from him ever again.”
Aside from his communication barriers now, Moxley successfully defended his IWGP Championship against Konosuke Takeshita at Double or Nothing 2024. He is next set to defend his title against Tetsuya Naito at the AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door at the end of this month.
As far as important communication with Moxley goes, it seems that it would have to happen through his wife, Renee Paquette, until he purchases a new phone.
