The NWA continues to secure its talent roster, as another key star has committed to the company. Colby Corino, who rejoined the NWA last year after a deal with WWE fell through, has officially re-signed with the organization.

According to BodySlam.net, Corino’s new contract with the NWA was finalized a couple of weeks ago and took effect on June 1st. The new deal ensures Corino will stay with the NWA at least until the end of the year and includes a pay raise. The contract extends through 2025, with options for renewal every six months. It is semi-exclusive, meaning Corino cannot work with WWE/NXT, AEW/ROH, GCW, TNA, NJPW, or MLW.

Sources indicate that Corino will likely be pushed towards the heavyweight division, signaling a potential shift in his in-ring career.

In addition to his in-ring activities, Colby Corino serves as the Head Coach of the Carolina Wrestling Academy in Newport, North Carolina, where he trains some of the brightest prospects in the Carolinas. He is also heavily involved backstage in a management role with PWF (Premier Wrestling Federation), also located in Newport, NC.

It’s also worth mentioning that Colby Corino’s signing is one of the many that NWA has signed on. Recently both Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova inked deals with the promotion. Speaking of Bryan Idol, he recently did sit down interview with Ringside News, which you can view on our YouTube channel.

The NWA’s next event, the 76th Anniversary Show, is set for August 31st at the 2300 Arena (formerly the ECW Arena) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Before that, Colby Corino will face Brad Attitude on June 30th for the AML Championship, a match that will undoubtedly showcase his talent and set the stage for his future in the heavyweight division. With his renewed commitment to the NWA, fans can expect to see more of Corino’s exceptional wrestling prowess as he continues to make his mark in the industry.
