Several stars in TNA have recently gained prominence in the industry, including the musical sensation Joe Hendry. This week, Hendry made an appearance on NXT, prompting a reaction from Matt Hardy.
On the June 18 episode of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry made a surprising entrance by announcing his participation in the 25-man battle royal and fans simply erupted in cheers.
Hendry’s unexpected appearance followed numerous mentions on shows such as RAW and WWE Clash at the Castle. Despite his bold declarations of dominance, Hendry was eliminated early in the match by fellow TNA star Frankie Kazarian, with whom he is currently feuding.
Matt Hardy took to Twitter and made it very clear he was really happy about Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian competing in the battle royal. He praised them as deserving talents from TNA and emphasized that the crossover between NXT and TNA is beneficial for business, using phrasing reminiscent of Triple H’s perspective.
”Very happy to see @joehendry & @FrankieKazarian appear on #WWENXT tonight. Both hugely deserving talents. The @ThisIsTNA & @WWENXT crossover is “best for business” as The Man With 3Hs would say.”
Joe Hendry also ripped into Shawn Michaels following his disappointing performance in the battle royal, as he hinted at appearing on WWE television again. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Joe Hendry.
