One of the most anticipated crossover appearances amidst the ongoing TNA and WWE collaboration finally occurred this week on WWE NXT.

At the very start of the show, TNA star and music sensation Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance and announced his participation in a 25-man battle royal to determine the next No.1 contender for the NXT Title.

Hendry’s appearance on NXT was teased through multiple references on various WWE shows over the weeks. However, the night did not go as he had hoped, as he was the first to be eliminated from the match. Despite that, his crossover garnered major headlines and did spectacular numbers for the company.

In a span of 15 hours on WWE’s official X, Joe Hendry’s debut on the June 18 edition of WWE NXT gained over 3,500,000+ views. Interestingly, the traction surpasses the combined views of the debuts of top AEW signees Kazuchika Okada, Mercedes Mone, and Will Ospreay, which have around 2,000,000 views as of now.
