The dominant Goldberg rose to fame as one of the most intimidating figures in professional wrestling history. He made a significant impact during his historic run in WCW.

The former WWE Universal Champion last competed in 2022, facing off against Roman Reigns at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, where he suffered a loss but made it clear that a wrestler does not retire until they leave the world.

During a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Goldberg stated that he would be open to having one final match that he can deliver to be a blockbuster but would also be fine with the fact should it not happen.

“I would absolutely love to have that final match. I would. Am I good not having it? Yeah, I’m fine with it. But it’d be neat to have one.

Furthermore, the WCW icon also mentioned that he would like to have his final match even outside promotions like WWE and AEW, namedropping a few places lie Israel and India for the last encounter.

“It wouldn’t have to be with anyone. I could do it myself and accomplish what I wanted to accomplish, right? I could do the promotion myself. Overseas, do it in Israel, do it in India, do it somewhere, do it in Japan.”

Currently, he is a free agent after his last WWE contract expired, so it remains to be seen if Goldberg will return to the ring, whether in WWE or another promotion, in the future for possibly one last dance.
