The debut of the Wyatt Sicks was highly anticipated for several months until it finally happened this week on RAW. However, it appears a former WWE writer believes the faction’s storyline will be dead in a month under Triple H’s booking.

During the June 17 episode of RAW, the Wyatt Sicks faction made their horrific debut by taking out many members of staff and WWE Superstars before joining each other on the entrance ramp to close out the show.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Vince Russo talked about the Wyatt Sicks’ future in WWE. expressed concern that if the usual creative team under Triple H handled the booking, the faction would be quickly ruined. Russo suggested that WWE should bring in external writers or filmmakers to manage the faction’s storyline, starting with Uncle Howdy.

Russo also wondered if in a few weeks, the faction’s characters, like the Rabbit and the masked figure, would be reduced to standard tag team matches against teams like the New Day. He doubted the wrestling creative team’s ability to handle the storyline effectively, fearing it would be doomed in under a month.

“Why not start with Uncle Howdy. This had me captivated, paying full attention to my television screen the last five minutes. People are dead. I don’t know, they’re all dead. I’m watching this and I’m saying, okay bro, in three weeks are we gonna get the Rabbit and the guy in the mask in a tag team match against the New Day? Like who is going to write this? I’m telling you right now, if the wrestling people write this, this is dead in the water in under a month. If literally outside television, horror writers, movie makers write this, I’m all for it. If Triple H writes this, you’re gonna have Chad Gable get his revenge on the guy in a freaking bunny suit in three weeks on RAW.”

The Wyatt Sicks also received standing ovation after their appearance, but WWE clearly has big plans for the action, so we’ll have to wait and see whether the faction will find success in the end.
