AEW boasts a roster packed with immensely talented wrestlers, but the dynamics of the industry dictate that not everyone remains with the company indefinitely. Last year, The Bunny parted ways with AEW, and now it seems she has offered an update on her potential return to the ring amidst her hiatus.

In November 2023, it was confirmed that The Bunny and AEW had “mutually agreed to part ways,” although no further details were provided regarding the circumstances surrounding her departure.

The Bunny has not really wrestled at all since her AEW exit and she has provided an update on her future in the ring during a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest. She mentioned that she is currently taking a break from in-ring action and exploring other endeavors.

I’m figure skating right now and I’m loving it. I’m acting and I’m taking a little hiatus from breaking my body weekly… 19 years, I think I deserve a little break so, never say never but as of right now, I’m really enjoying my figure skating and acting. It’s very fun. But oh! And I have a project coming but I can’t talk about it yet but I do have a project coming which is very exciting. It’s horror-related.

The Bunny’s most recent match for AEW dates back to September 6th when she partnered up with Anna Jay, Taya Valkyrie, and others against Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Hikaru Shida, and Skye Blue. Only time will tell what’s next in store for The Bunny since her pro wrestling career is currently on hold for the time being.
