Je’Von Evans is one of NXT’s brightest young stars, consistently impressing fans and higher-ups with his incredible in-ring ability. This talent was on full display on NXT this week, and the backstage reaction to his closing shot has been overwhelmingly positive.

During the June 18th edition of WWE NXT, Je’Von Evans won the 25-man battle royal and earned the right to challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at the Heatwave Premium Live Event.

Following Evans’ match against Ethan Page, Page spotted Williams at the announce desk, leading to a confrontation where they get in each other’s faces. Meanwhile, Shawn Spears slid into the ring and started delivering right hands to Evans. Williams then entered the ring and retaliated with right hands on Spears, but Page joined Spears and together they overpowered Williams.

Suddenly, Evans leapt off the top rope, executing a double cutter on both Page and Spears. The sequence left all four men laid out in the ring, with the NXT Championship positioned prominently between them as the show concluded.
