WWE Clash At The Castle 2024 Premium Live Event took place this past Saturday at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The event and in-ring action were praised by the fans, while the show featured several notable moments that captivated the audience and even did record event gate as announced by WWE CCO Triple H.

The show saw blockbuster matches featuring the I-Quit match between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles, alongside other significant title matches on the card.

The main event saw WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest face Drew McIntyre, with Judgment Day barred from ringside. The match ended controversially after McIntyre’s arch-rival came down in a referee’s shirt and cost him the biggest match of his entire career.

However, another highlight of the night was the title change in the WWE Women’s Tag Team division. Scotland’s own Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre emerged victorious in a triple-threat match against former champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill and the duo of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.

WrestleStats noted on their X that Dawn and Fyre are only the second team to hold two different Women’s Tag Team Titles. The first team to achieve this was Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, with both teams holding the WWE and NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles with the same partner.

“The Unholy Union is the 2nd duo to hold 2 *different* women’s tag titles, joining Chance & Carter. Each team held both the @WWE and #NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles; with the same set of partners when they were champions. #WWECastle @wwe_alba @IslaDawn.”

With Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre scoring a huge upset, it will be interesting to see if they can hold on to the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles and prove themselves to be remarkable champions.
