Cody Rhodes is currently enjoying the pinnacle of his career as the Undisputed WWE Champion since dethroning Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 to claim the title. This has made him one of the most beloved babyfaces of the modern era.

However, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker expressed his belief that Cody Rhodes will have an even more impactful run as a heel during his recent conversation with Chris Van Vliet.

The Phenom described Rhodes as the antithesis of Roman Reigns, noting his exceptional performance and potential for a future heel turn. Moreover, Taker was also enthusiastic about seeing things unfold upon Reigns’ return to WWE from his hiatus.

“He’s doing a phenomenal job, and again, I think he’s gonna have a tremendous run as a baby face. But, I think his bigger run will be as a heel. There’s just something about Cody with me that I envision a heel. It’s down the road because right now, he’s killing it as a baby face, his promos are on point, and he’s fighting all the people he’s supposed to be. He’s almost an anti-Roman, things will be very interesting when Roman comes back.”

The Prodigal Son is expected to seek out a new challenger soon, having recently secured his second victory over AJ Styles at WWE Clash At The Castle in an I Quit match. As many noticed, he was confronted by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline after his win, only for the threat to be neutralized by Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

So it will be interesting to see if WWE chooses to resurrect Cody’s feud with The Bloodline, this time with their interim leader and the man who has cost him big opportunities in the past, Solo Sikoa.

Do you think Cody Rhodes would be a great heel character in the future, as envisioned by The Undertaker? Also, is Solo Sikoa going to be his next challenger? Sound off in the comments!
