Sami Zayn Called Out for Looking ‘Like A Slob’ on WWE Television

Sami Zayn has been the Intercontinental Champion since defeating Gunther for the title at WrestleMania 40 and engaged in solid feuds with the likes of Chad Gable since then. However, while he is a beloved babyface for many, a former WWE writer called him out for looking like a slob.

On the June 17 episode of WWE Raw, Bron Breakker confronted WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, leading to a match against Sheamus with a potential title shot on the line. During the match, Ludwig Kaiser interfered, attacking Sheamus. After the match, Breakker delivered Spears to both Sheamus and Kaiser and also shoved Zayn, sending a clear message.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW podcast, Vince Russo expressed his dislike for Sami Zayn, criticizing the Canadian wrestler’s appearance. According to Russo, Zayn doesn’t look like a champion because he dresses and presents himself in a manner that Russo described as resembling a “slob.”

“My biggest pet peeve with Sami Zayn is and I said it a lot, bro, you look like a slob. You look like I don’t know, you put your hair under the shower and then.. I don’t know what.. I saw him on NXT, Chris, when he was shortcut with the Irish cap, the nice groomed beard, I liked the guy. My biggest problem with this guy is, every time I see him, he looks like a slob.”

After successfully retaining his Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable at Clash at The Castle, Sami Zayn is looking at new challenger in the form of Bron Breakker. Therefore, Zayn will be more focused on his feud than worrying about his appearance and that’s unlikely to ever change.
