WWE has been captivating fans with a campaign featuring QR codes and glitch effects. Since WrestleMania 40, speculation has swirled that these teasers could indicate the return of Bo Dallas, potentially under his previous persona, Uncle Howdy. Interestingly, WWE’s plans for Howdy’s faction on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw have now been revealed.
WWE recently added a QR code during the June 14th edition of Friday Night SmackDown and we had already revealed that the QR code signified the return of Uncle Howdy on the June 17th edition of Monday Night RAW.
PWInsider reports that the new Uncle Howdy faction is set to be revealed in some capacity on tonight’s Raw. Erick Rowan, who recently re-signed with WWE and is confirmed to be part of the group, was seen in Texas near the location of tonight’s show at Corpus Christi.
We’ll have to wait and see whether the new faction featuring Uncle Howdy will become a hit with fans or fall flat, as there are high expectations surrounding this group. Fans are eager to see how WWE executes this storyline and whether it will meet their hopes.
Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the episode will turn out.
