Megan Bayne in Talks with AEW After Free Agency

Former Stardom wrestler Megan Bayne completed her tenure with the promotion on January 21st of this year, prompting speculation and anticipation regarding a potential move to AEW.

Despite making appearances on AEW programming such as Dark, Dark: Elevation, and Rampage in the past as an unsigned talent, Bayne’s transition to a formal contract with AEW has not materialized yet and it appears she is now in talks with AEW after becoming a free agent.

According to a report from Fightful Select, despite previous indications that she was still associated with AEW, sources close to Bayne have clarified that she has actually been a free agent for some time now.

Sean Ross Sapp confirmed through these sources that Bayne is currently not under contract with any promotion and is free to work anywhere she chooses. However, there have been developments indicating that AEW has reached out to Bayne recently. Discussions between Bayne and AEW have taken place, including some creative pitches being exchanged.

At this point, it remains uncertain whether Bayne will ultimately join AEW, as no final decisions have been reached. While she still isn’t part of AEW, Bayne has kept herself busy by competing in promotions such as GCW and Limitless Wrestling. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether Bayne will sign up AEW in the end.
