Jeff Hardy’s AEW contract was slated to expire in June, and speculation suggested he would return to TNA once he became a free agent and that’s what happened in the end. In light of this, Hardy now vows to rebuild himself.
Jeff Hardy made a triumphant return to TNA Wrestling during TNA Against All Odds, where he came to the rescue of his brother Matt Hardy, Ryan Nemeth, Nic Nemeth, and Joe Hendry by thwarting The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers).
While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Jeff Hardy made it very clear that he was grateful to all of his fans and is determined to rebuild himself again, acknowledging that he wants to get back the superpower he once had, which was the same thing CM Punk possesses right now.
“With me and things that have happened in my personal life, I’ve had to rebuild things over and over again. I’m very excited about rebuilding this time, not to burn it down, talking about my career and my existence. When I think about (CM) Punk, I always say he’s such a superpower. I had that superpower at one point in my life. I’m rebuilding to get it back because I have an amazing connection with the fans, as everybody knows, and I have to prove to myself and them that there is a little light inside of me that is going to shine brighter than ever.”
We have reported that Jeff Hardy remains a free agent following his TNA appearance. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see how Jeff Hardy will be booked in TNA in the coming weeks.
