CM Punk, who has been sidelined from in-ring action since January due to a triceps injury, has remained prominently featured on WWE television and active on social media. He made an appearance at Clash at The Castle, but his in-ring status for Money In The Bank has now been disclosed.

CM Punk made his return at Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event, where he cost Drew McIntyre the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest. Punk would then reveal he would miss the June 17th edition of Monday Night RAW to get a medical evaluation.

According to Wrestle Votes, as of last week’s RAW roster sheet, CM Punk’s official return date was scheduled for the end of July. It is reported that he is unlikely to be cleared for action by Money In The Bank on July 6th, but he is expected to be ready for SummerSlam on August 3rd.
