TNA Wrestling and WWE have collaborated in the past, and they recently resumed this partnership with Jordynne Grace’s appearance on NXT television last month. In light of these developments, Bryan Idol has addressed the potential for the NWA and WWE to work together.
While speaking with Steve Fall for Ringside News, Bryan Idol was asked whether WWE and NWA could make a deal, which would see Idol or Natalia Markova making an appearance on WWE television.
Bryan Idol pointed out that both Natalia Markvova and he have appeared on WWE pay-per-views, citing their involvement in events like the Evolve pay-per-view. He recalled being in the ring when Tom Dreamer vanished and Paul Heyman appeared, marking a significant moment at the ECW Arena after 18 years.
“I would like to point out the technicality that both Natalia and I have been on WWE pay-per-views, such as the Evolved pay-per-view. I was actually the guy in the ring when Tom Dreamer disappeared and Paul Heyman reappeared, marking the first time in 18 years at the ECW Arena. So, we’ve had that WWE crossover experience.”
Reflecting on their crossover experience with WWE, Idol emphasized that he remains open to future opportunities with WWE. He made it clear he is willing to accept any call from WWE, noting his commitment as a wrestler and acknowledging the potential excitement of such prospects.
“I wouldn’t rule anything out. If they called upon me for something, why would I say no? I’m a wrestler; I’d get in there and do what I have to do. Would it be cool? Yeah.”
Bryan Idol also recently revealed the length of his newly signed NWA contract. Regardless, only time will tell whether WWE and the NWA will work together in the future, as that would likely make for some interesting television.
