AJ Styles was determined to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash at The Castle but didn’t quite manage to make that happen. After his loss, it appears Styles required urgent medical attention.

During a pivotal match at the Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event, Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against AJ Styles in a fierce ‘I Quit’ bout.

AJ Styles unleashed a barrage of weapons including belts, handcuffs, kendo sticks, and more in his assault on Cody Rhodes. Despite this onslaught, Rhodes managed to reverse the momentum, causing Styles to bleed and eventually handcuffing him.

Ultimately, Cody Rhodes emerged victorious by forcing AJ Styles to say the words ‘I quit,’ threatening him with steel steps before securing his title defense. Even after the match concluded, The American Nightmare hit Styles with the steps anyway.

WWE exclusively shared footage on Twitter, showing AJ Styles receiving assistance to the backstage area for immediate medical evaluation after his match. The caption emphasized that Styles needed ‘urgent medical attention.’ Cameras captured him entering the trainer’s room, but filming stopped at that point.

”EXCLUSIVE: @AJStylesOrg required urgent medical attention after tonight’s Undisputed WWE Championship “I Quit” Match against @CodyRhodes at #WWECastle.”

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for The Phenomenal One, as it is quite clear he is done with Cody Rhodes for the time being. Fans certainly hope WWE will have something better planned for Styles soon enough.
