The Uncle Howdy-led faction is set to make its debut soon, generating significant buzz within the WWE Universe. At the WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland premium live event, another QR code teaser hinted at the imminent arrival of the group, potentially as early as Monday’s WWE Raw on June 17 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
According to Fightful Select, the faction will feature Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan, with more members possibly joining later. Erick Rowan recently re-signed with WWE and is training for his return at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Bo Dallas, who has been under contract since 2022, will assume the role of Uncle Howdy. Dexter Lumis, who hasn’t appeared on TV for over a year, is also confirmed to be part of the group, with sources indicating that his absence was not due to injury.
This faction has been in the works for quite some time, with WWE officials believing it has the potential to resonate with modern wrestling audiences. The Bray Wyatt documentary on Peacock hinted at the creation of a faction that Bray Wyatt would be proud of, focusing on a more grounded approach compared to the supernatural elements previously associated with The Fiend.
Currently, no supernatural elements are planned for the Uncle Howdy group. The characters Mercy The Buzzard, Huskus Pig, and the White Rabbit were also discussed as possible additions, though many details about the faction remain highly secretive.
The group has been teased since early April, with Bray Wyatt’s documentary referencing Bo Dallas’ return. This long-term planning included significant effort in developing costumes and visuals for the group’s debut.
